Course Number: SOCW 2605
For many who are facing the transition called death, whether it be as an elderly person facing the final stages of life, a loved one coming to terms with illness and disease, or because of an unexpected accident, end-of-life care can be an overwhelming experience. The teachings of the ascended masters provide a unique and inspiring view of this cycle of life to help you understand what is really taking place within the body, soul and spirit of one who is transitioning—or has transitioned—to another realm.
SOCW 2605 includes teachings and practical applications for each level of being: spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. Students will learn about standard levels of care for end-of-life and also study cases in which ascended master views differ from mainstream concepts including pain management, resolution and regret, fear of dying, the grace of acceptance versus the power of denial, communication techniques, and caring for the body. Students will create a resource packet to help them serve others as well as gain practical skills for this important phase of life.
Students will be assessed on the following course assignments:

Forum Posts (5) | 20% |
Journal Assignments (6) | 20% |
